DARIA POLATIN’s plays include Guidance, D.C., The Luxor Express (inspired by her father’s life growing up in Egypt), and her latest play In Tandem. Her work has been produced at The Kennedy Center, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Naked Angels, Ensemble Studio Theatre, and Cape Cod Theatre Project, where her play Guidance was helmed by Broadway director Mark Brokaw. She wrote an original pilot for The N Network, ghostwrote two young adult novels for a New York Times Bestselling Series with Alloy Entertainment, and her play D.C. was published by Dramatists Play Service. She completed a residency with London’s Royal Court Theatre, earned her BFA from Boston University, and her MFA in Playwriting from Columbia University.
Daria is currently working on her new play The Genius Club, writing a feature film with award-winning director Guy Nattiv, and editing a web series pilot she wrote and directed called “Till It Gets Weird.”
