Daria Polatin

DARIA POLATIN is a playwright, tv writer and screenwriter, who also composes music and writes fiction. As a playwright she has had her work presented and developed at New York Theatre Workshop, Naked Angels Lab, The Ensemble Studio Theatre, Electric Pear Productions, The Kennedy Center, Berkshire Playwrights Lab and The Hen and Chickens Theatre in London. She was a resident playwright with The Royal Court Theatre, nominated for the 2007 Wasserstein Prize, and her play EGGS IN A BASKET was a finalist for the Princess Grace Award. In Television Daria has written a pilot for MTV Networks, developed work with NBC, CBS and Oxygen, and has also written for film and young adult fiction. She recieved her MFA in Playwriting from Columbia University.
