DARIA POLATIN is a playwright, tv writer and screenwriter, who also composes music and writes fiction. As a playwright she has had her work read and/or performed at New York Theatre Workshop, Naked Angels Lab, and The Ensemble Studio Theatre among others. She was a playwright in The Royal Court Theatre’s New York residency, nominated for the 2007 Wasserstein Prize, and her play EGGS IN A BASKET was in the final round for the Princess Grace Award, 2007. Daria has written a TV pilot for MTV Networks and has developed work with NBC and Oxygen. She was commissioned to write a feature screenplay, HAPPEN TO KNOW. Daria continues to do freelance work on young adult novels with Alloy Entertainment.
